Away We Go

Although the discovery this week from the Mars rover Curiosity was workaday and unsexy—it found dirt, basically, but it did a really good job of it—it didn’t stop NASA from announcing another Mars rover mission scheduled for 2020.

In other news, Voyager I, the space probe launched in 1977, may finally be crossing the boundary between the solar system and interstellar space.
