Angelina Jolie has finally come clean about her stay in a psychiatric ward just before her ill-fated marriage to Billy Bob Thornton. Angelina, 28, ended her three-day stay at the Neuropsychiatric Institute at U.C.L.A. Medical Center only 24 hours before she married the Sling Blade actor she says she admitted herself to the ward because she thought she had killed someone.

Jodi Margaret Harper will marry Andrew Trautmann this Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia.The couple met after Ms. Harper shot and killed 27 hostages in a failed bank robbery attempt in 1993. Mr. Trautmann, the 28th hostage and the one who wrestled her to the ground, graduated from Colgate.
Mary Elizabeth Beynon will marry Dr. Paul A. Jackson next Saturday at the home of the bridegroom’s parents in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
The bridegroom is the son of Drs. Richard and Gail Jackson of Saratoga Springs. His father is a endocrinologist at the Saratoga Springs Hospital. His mother owns her own ophthalmology practice.
The bride’s parents were mauled last year by a streak of tigers.
The couple will honeymoon in Virgin Gorda.
Edward Foster married Nicole Goldberg this past weekend. Mark Kiely, a Universal Life minister, officiated the ceremony at the bride’s family’s home in Phoenix, Ariz.
The bridegroom, 38, is a Vice President for Corporate Services at Goldman Sachs. The bride, 33, has been suspected of murder, but never charged, five times in the United States and once in Brazil.
The bride’s previous six marriages ended under natural circumstances.
Dinah Alcovar, the daughter of George and Devika Alcovar, was married yesterday to Louis Snow of Stratton, Ohio.
The bride will continue to use her surname professionally as a popular musician in the Lake Erie and surrounding area. Two years ago while asleep, the bride discovered a pack of ferrets in her underwear.
During her stay at U.C.L.A., Dinah was familiar to many staff and patients as Derek.
Elaine Botts Wormser was married recently to Michael Eric Coyne. The ceremony was conducted at the couple’s new home in Menomonee Falls, Wis.
The bride, 27, is a receptionist for an information-processing company. She graduated from Fairfield University. On a family vacation to Los Angeles she was shot and severely woundedthough not killedby actress Angelina Jolie.
The bridegroom, 29, is a project manager for Prudential Financial. Until last year he believed he was Jolie.
