Favorite Books: Anna Karenina, Heart of Darkness, The Lover, The Girls Guide to Hunting and Fishing, Charlotte’s Web, Love in the Time of Cholera, The Great Gatsby, The Wrecking Yard, A Good Man is Hard to Find … I could go on and on and on and on.
Heroes: My friends!
What makes you laugh: Little kids—preferably under five—playing any team sport (soccer being the most entertaining with regards to the landing-on-the-butt factor); dogs when they know they’ve done something wrong; when bad things happen to bad people; my friends.
Charity worth giving to: Any starving artist or writer.
Five words that sound good: Peccadillo, audacious, sarsaparilla, onomatopoeia, weimaraner.
