May Mantell (
maymantell.com) received her BFA in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and her MFA from Stanford University. She has taught photography at the San Francisco Art Institute, Stanford University, the University of Vermont, and Middlebury College. She lives and works in Addison County, Vermont. A show of her animal work is scheduled to open in July at the Thomas Welton Stanford Art Gallery at Stanford University.
