The Day After The Day After Tomorrow

Long live summer. Or, long live escape plans to leave Brooklyn for nicer places. People have been worried about New York’s reaction to this new movie The Day After Tomorrow—where the city is attacked by tidal waves and ice storms, with chaos reminiscent of Sept. 11’s disaster—but watching it last night, I couldn’t help thinking the movie’s every New Yorker’s dream, at least in August. No one looks forward to the late summer weather in New York. No one.

So we’ll be staying inside, typing on computers. There are many plans buzzing around TMN—you’ll see some of them in action (New! Hot! Things!) in the coming weeks—but one of the biggest is a major redesign sometime soon. And I’d like to solicit a little help, from you, so we can have our readers’ input as we begin to draw up blueprints.

1) What do you like most about TMN? What are the top three reasons you visit the site?

2) What would you like to see more of on the site?

3) What do you find confusing about the site’s design? What do you think can be improved? If given the chance, how would you change its presentation or structure?
