Sick History

I’ve been sick for the past week and a half. Here’s what it was like, had it all been chronicled on the front page of this site.

New York’s currently:

got a sore throat, but not worried about it

feeling a little ‘off’

sneezing, shaking, scared

feverish and now hallucinating

laughing at the word ‘mucus’

sad it may miss The Morning News party

sweat-through

happy to have met Kevin Guilfoile and Jim Coudal

losing a little weight

pale

calling in sick

sipping C and juice

trying to figure out how its medical insurance works

charging up the phlegm pads

waking up feeling much better

still coughing – why?

all congested-like

not feeling so hot

sick again

got a big rock of snot in its head

happy to have finally seen The Nightmare Before Christmas

rubbing shins with Chesty LaCould

bursting with catarrh

not doing the Album of the Week because its eyes are swelled shut

in a NyQuil daze

really, this time, feeling better

glad somebody took care of me
