Getting Benjamins from the… Benjamin?
It is a hot summer for
The Morning News. As you’ve read in Andrew’s recent letters (
one, two), we have used the extra time afforded by our ‘summer publishing schedule’ to find new additions for the team. It’s my pleasure today to publicize another appointment:
Dan Benjamin has joined
The Morning News as our Technical Director.
You probably know Dan through his technology- and cigar-related writing on
Hivelogic, though you may also have seen him at
A List Apart, O’Reilly’s
MacDevCenter, or Linux World. He will be handling the heavy lifting of our technology from this day forward, and we are very excited to have such a good, strong mind aiding us where we are weak and puny.
His illustration and bio will be joining the masthead soon, until then you’ll have to live with this image:

Also note: We have one more announcement coming soon, concerning another addition to the Contributing Writers staff, only (s)he’s asked us to hold back until his/her next story is online. Until then
All yours,
Rosecrans
