I married in Texas on 5 October 2002. If I can remember that date, I’ll do alright come anniversary time. But that’s jumping too far ahead for now.
It was, by all accounts, a beautiful wedding.
There were speeches, there were toasts,
there was even a poem. There was a hurricane that could have hit us, but didn’t. The DJ kept playing all the wrong songs, but people still boogied. The cake was tasty, a lot tastier than I think anyone expected. Friends from New York, friends from California, friends from all over were in attendance and barely complained about the heat. There was a great deal of champagne served. We danced our first dance to Nick Cave.
There are photos.
