Wad

I curse, you curse, we all curse. But for the imaginative cursers out there, we offer you The Alternative Dictionaries. It’s for those special occasions when you need to know that ‘yeb vas’ means ‘fuck off’ in Russian, or that ‘da’ma’k’ means ‘asshole’ in Azerbaijani.

The authors even provide you with helpful notes on proper use for each term – that is, how strong or offensive what you’ll be saying actually is – one can already imagine how useful it would be to know that what you’re saying may get you punched in the mouth by some ‘padirsenis’ (Latvian for ‘bastard,’ literally means ‘the one who’s stinking shit, cos he used to shit in his pants.’)

Especially interesting is the section on English slang, where you’ll find every manner of slur, insult, and body-part terminology, and where you’ll get a chance to catch up with some of your old favorites.
-wad: no real translation; suffix that can be added freely to ANY word… e.g.: Shutup, dickwad! Piss off, asswad! Go away, stainwad!

ball: testicle; usually used in the plural. Not considered obscene today. e.g.: John has a big pair of balls.

Way to go, John.
