Summer 2007 Internship

We are now accepting applications for our summer 2007 intern position. Applicants should email us a short description of why they want to intern at TMN, their complete contact information, and a résumé that’s pasted in the email (not attached; fancy formatting is not cared about). We appreciate detailed descriptions of any kind of editorial, publishing, or web-work experience. Please also inform us of any summer plans. Duties include whatever you imagine it takes to keep TMN chugging along, and more. Ten to 12 hours of work per week from home, Starbucks, or wherever you like. The internship is unpaid, excluding the beer.

Meave, 2006-7 intern:
Being a TMN intern was the most fulfilling virtual experience of my entire life. I hear Rosecrans and Andrew are even hotter in person than on the internet, but I can’t confirm that rumor. The TMN internship gave me a glimpse into the sordid world of government contracting; I couldn’t believe the corruption. Wait, no, that’s my real job. At TMN there is no money to corrupt anyone, but there is a lot of drinking! And though TMN may not have a roomful of free designer clothes, the staff is better looking than anyone at Conde Nast.
Erik, 2006-7 intern:
Halfway through my internship with TMN, I was asked if I would like to stay on for another unpaid season of headlines, deadlines, and editorial rigamarole. I jumped at the chance to continue. It’s literally been a dream come true. Also, if you get Rosecrans drunk (not very difficult) he’ll dance with you.
Deadline: May 14, 2007

Thanks,
TMN
