Michelle Ephraim is associate professor of English at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass. In addition to numerous scholarly articles on Shakespeare and a book, Reading the Jewish Woman on the Elizabethan Stage (Ashgate Press, 2008), she’s written essays on literature and popular culture for publications such as the Chronicle of Higher Education, Lilith, Tikkun, and the Washington Post.
